CODA 2go release plans

The suite will be released in phases, each addressing a specific process.

Release 1: Opportunity to Cash

The first of these – Opportunity to Cash – is available now. This includes: invoice generation; cash posting; cash management and aged debt reporting.

Thanks to its seamless integration with the Salesforce CRM system, it provides a variety of additional benefits including:

  • Improved financial visibility – across the whole process, from converting an opportunity to an order, through to creating an invoice and tracking the delivery of the order.
  • Real-time credit management – built-in rules to ensure approval requirements are met, for example preventing accidental credit limit breaches.
  • Better-informed decisions – easy, controlled “self-service” access to finance and CRM information to assist decision-makers, without tying up the finance team.
  • Control – the finance department retains full control over which transactions and other data items from the CODA applications are made available to the sales team.

Future releases

Following on from Opportunity to Cash, the next phases of CODA 2go will be to provide full support for the General Ledger Accounting and Procure to Pay processes*:

  • General Ledger Accounting – making CODA’s market-leading unified-ledger design and flexible chart of accounts structure available on demand, including multi-currency operational transaction handling, as well as day-to-day reporting and analysis.
  • Procure to Pay:
    • Part 1: (released with General Ledger Accounting) - the accounts payable ledger, purchase invoicing and payments.
    • Part 2: managing suppliers, requisitions, purchase ordering, receiving, matching.

And we are already planning further phases of development, to continue on to other areas such as Sales Order Processing.

* Please note: these parts of CODA 2go are still in development and the exact functionality that will be released in each case will be confirmed nearer to each release date.
