With CODA, you can create a “finance portal” that delivers a sensible balance of central control and individual choice, to improve the way users access and interact with key business systems and information.
Thanks to CODA’s web-browser-architected design and the flexible configuration tools of the Administration Console you can give each user a single, familiar and controllable portal or “way in” to all their permitted CODA products. Portal also enables users to decide what programs, functions and other information to have constantly available on their desktop.
Portal creates a consistent and controlled interface that reflects corporate standards and conventions in its “look and feel”. It also enables individual access rights to each of the organization’s CODA applications to be set centrally. As well as providing an entry point to all their permitted CODA applications, it allows each user to personalize the portal to their own needs. This can range from selecting and customizing the CODA product functions that they use, to choosing exactly which other types of content – such as: key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting functions, tools, web pages and other useful information – to keep at their fingertips. So, the portal for a CFO can display quite different content to that of a line manager or accounts clerk.
